Intelligent Scene Selector – Automatically detects and selects the best shooting mode for you picture. It chooses from an array of scenes from Portrait, landscape, macro, night landscape, and night portrait

Face detection – The Lumix DMC-TZ5K will automatically pick up on any faces that are in the frame and choose the optimal focus and exposure settings. It can detect up to 15 faces and track it if it is moving.
