This might be a funny little joke, but it sure as heck isn’t science! When a scientist talks about the color spectrum, she is really talking about the measurable continuum of electro-ma-gnetic energy, of which visible light is but an infinitesi-mally small part. Big waves on one end, and the wave-lengt-hs get progressiv-ely smaller toward the other end. It is imagined that way so that we can understand that ALL electro-ma-gnetic energy can be seen as distinct parts of a larger system. It would not be expressed as a color wheel.
